FOOD RELIEF
New Life Care's Food Relief Centres are here to support vulnerable people in our community.
Every Wednesday 12pm - 2pm
Our Food Relief Centre is a place where we serve our local community through an innovative approach to Food Relief. Helping people in a dignified way is a key focus for New Life Care which is why we choose to operate our Food Relief Centre using the free-supermarket model. Our weekly Food Relief Centre empowers individuals and families in the Albury Wodonga and surrounding regions in need by granting them the dignity of choice.
Unlike traditional food assistance programs that distribute pre-selected boxes of items, our model allows people to navigate the centre and select the items that best suit their preferences and dietary requirements. Anyone is welcome to access our Food Relief Centre. For anyone who wishes to access the Food Relief Centre, there is no governmental or financial requirements and there are no hoops to jump through, simply register your details and come along. The Food Relief Centre operates each Wednesday from 12pm -2pm. We also have emergency food relief packages available Tuesday -Thursday and can be organised by calling or visiting our office.
Our commitment to the community extends beyond just providing food; we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where people feel respected and supported. Through the New Life Care Food Relief Centre, we endeavour to provide quality, nutritious food while promoting self-sufficiency and empowerment within our community.
