New Life Care is committed to fostering community connection through celebration
For the last 10 years we have been holding our annual Easter outreach event in the centre of Wodonga CBD. From 2014 - 2022 were held at Junction Square then in 2023, the event was moved to The Cube in Wodonga. The vision for this event each year is to spread joy and celebrate Easter with our community! As part of our commitment to fostering community connection and sharing love, our goal is to make this event something that everyone, whether they are locals or visitors to the Albury-Wodonga, are welcome and able to attend. But it's not just about the enormous Easter Egg Hunt; it's about spreading hope and kindness.
This year, we were able to distribute over 20,000 free Easter eggs to families in our local area, countless free food packages, hundreds and hundreds of free Hot Cross Buns. In return, we witnessed thousands upon thousands of smiles, laughs and families and friends coming together in one place without stress, concern or worry about if they would be able to celebrate Easter in 2024. It's a gesture of goodwill, symbolizing new beginnings and the joy of the Easter season. Something that everyone should be able to look back and have fond memories of each year.

In addition to the egg hunt, there are always a number of other fun-filled activities for all ages, including Easter crafts, games, and even a visit from the Easter bunny!
