GIVE A GIFT APPEAL
Christmas is a time of year that every person and family should be able to enjoy without shame or embarrassment
The New Life Care department of our church has undertaken a heartwarming initiative since 2014, providing Christmas gifts to those in need. Over the years, this endeavour has grown significantly, now distributing over 800 gifts to children and families facing hardships during the holiday season.
This initiative extends its support to foster care children and domestic violence victims, offering them the love and care they deserve during what can be a particularly challenging time. For these vulnerable individuals, the simple act of receiving a gift can bring immense joy and comfort, reminding them that they are not forgotten and that there are people who care deeply for their well-being.
As the need has increased over time, so too has the generosity of the New Life Care department and the community it serves. Through their dedication and compassion, they are making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who may otherwise feel overlooked or alone during the holidays. This tradition of giving embodies the true spirit of Christmas, spreading hope and kindness to those who need it most.
There are two main ways you can get involved in our Give A Gift Appeal - You are welcome to attend our service in person in December and bring a gift to place under the tree or you can donate financially and one of our allocated shoppers will purchase for you.
