BREAKFAST PROGRAM
In the heart of Albury/Wodonga, Community Care is committed to nurturing the well-being of our community's youth and kids through our School Breakfast Program.
Recognizing the critical importance of a nutritious start to the day, we have initiated this program to address the alarming reality that many children arrive at school without having had breakfast.
In partnership with local schools, we provide free, wholesome breakfast to students before the start of their day, using our New Life Care food trailer. Our dedicated team of volunteers ensures that every child has access to a nutritious meal, setting the stage for improved concentration, enhanced learning, and overall well-being.
The program operates on the principle of inclusivity, ensuring that all students, regardless of socio-economic background, have equal access to the nourishment they need to thrive. By removing barriers to healthy food choices, we strive to create a level playing field where every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Beyond addressing immediate hunger needs, our School Breakfast Program fosters a sense of community and belonging among students, promoting positive social interactions and reinforcing the values of care and compassion.
With the support of our volunteers, donors, and community partners, Community Care's School Breakfast Program is making a tangible difference in the lives of youth and kids,
Join us in our mission to ensure that no child starts the school day on an empty stomach. Together, we can empower our youth and kids to thrive and succeed.
